For the past ten years I have done birth consulting for individuals, television and movie production companies, and media outlets around the world.

When working with people on a one-on-one basis, I provide education and emotional support either on the phone or in person. While I don't give medical advice, I do help both women and men to work through their fears and alter any limiting beliefs they may have about pregnancy, birth, parenting or life in general. I also help women/couples to heal from a birth experience that was less than ideal. I offer a free fifteen-minute phone consultation. My fee for an hour-long session is $100.

My work with production companies and media outlets consists of providing birth footage and photos, finding women that are willing to participate in unassisted childbirth or homebirth documentaries, programs or articles, and answering questions about unassisted birth and "alternative" parenting. Companies I've worked with include ABC News, the BBC, the Discovery Channel, Disney, Granada Factual London, the New York Times, Reuters, and the Washington Post.
